![]() In NTFS mode, instead of extracting the ISO, it copies the whole ISO to its root, it extracts initrd.lz and vmlinuz.efi, creates uui with ldlinux.sys, syslinux.cfg and grldr and creates /bot/grub/menu.lst. ![]() The whole /ISOLINUX/ directory contains much more and different files than stored in the ISO. In /ISOLINUX/isolinux.cfg, the options shown by GRUB when booting the stick are contained. ![]() It adds the /uui/ folder containing the bootloader ldlinux.sys (?) and a syslinux.cfg, loading /isolinux/isolinux.cfg (capitalizations doesn't matter in FAT32). In FAT32 mode, it extracts the whole ISO to the stick. This is a small comparison of what Universal USB Installer (the tool behind, suggested in Installation) creates, when you try to create a LXLE Install USB Drive, with the option to format as NTFS or FAT32 checked. ![]()
